นอกจากจะมีการปรับรุ่นใหม่ของ PlayStation VR แล้วทาง Sony ยังรุกหนักด้วยการปล่อยคลิปตัวอย่างโชว์การเล่นเกมบนแว่น VR ที่ขายดีที่สุดของค่าย และยังมีการโชว์รายชื่อเกมที่จะออกมารองรับ ที่มีทั้งเกมที่สร้างมาเฉพาะ PlayStation VR และเกมดังหลายเกมที่สร้างโหมดใหม่ให้เล่นด้วย PlayStation VR ได้ ส่วนรุ่นใหม่ที่มีรหัสว่า CUH-ZVR2 จะวางขายวันที่ 14 ตุลาคม นี้ในญี่ปุ่น
