Disney เดินหน้าลุยตลาดอนิเมะมากขึ้น ล่าสุดเตรียมขนแฟรนไชส์ Macross มาให้ชมผ่าน Disney+ อย่างจุดใจครบทุกภาคภายในปี ค.ศ. 2024
Macross อนิเมะแนวไซไฟสร้างโดย โชจิ คาวาโมริ (Shōji Kawamori) และสตูดิโอ Nue กับ Artland อนิเมะออกฉายครั้งแรกในปี ค.ศ. 1982 ในชื่อ The Super Dimension Fortress Macross โดยมีโครงเรื่องอันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ ได้แก่ รักสามเศร้า, ไอดอล, เสียงเพลงและเครื่องบินรบที่สามารถแปลงร่างได้
หลังจากนั้นก็มีอนิเมะจากแฟรนไชส์ Macross ตามมาอีกมากมายหลายเรื่อง ความโด่งดังของเรื่องนี้ไม่ได้อยู่เพียงแค่ประเทศญี่ปุ่นเท่านั้น Harmony Gold USA ซื้อลิขสิทธิ์ไปดัดแปลงในชื่อ Robotech และนำไปฉายในต่างประเทศ
รายชื่อ Macross ที่จะได้รับชมทาง Disney+ นอกประเทศญี่ปุ่น แฟน ๆ เรื่องนี้เตรียมรับชมอย่างจุใจภายในปี ค.ศ. 2024 สำหรับชาวไทยรอชมได้ทาง Disney+ Hotstar
