ก่อนหน้านี้มีข่าวว่าเครื่องเกม Nintendo Switch เสียแชมป์ให้ Xbox ซีรีส์ โดยคอนโซลของ Nintendo ทำยอดลดลง 21% แต่ก็ยังเป็นเครื่องเกมที่มียอดขายสูงสุดแห่งปีล่าสุดมีการเปิดยอดขายแผ่นเกมและยอดขายดาวน์โหลดรวมกัน ประจำเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ 2022 ออกมให้ชมแล้ว
โดยเกมสุดโหดอย่าง Elden Ring ขายดีที่สุดในอังกฤษประจำเดือนไปอย่างง่ายดาย เป็นที่สังเกตว่า Kirby and the Forgotten Kingdom ทำยอดขายอันดับ 10 เพราะเปิดตัววางขายสิ้นเดือนด้วย หากรวมยอดขายดาวน์โหลดและแผ่นเกมเข้าด้วยกัน ถือว่าแฟนเกม Nintendo นิยมซื้อแบบแผ่นเกมมากกว่า
