ในที่สุดก็มีการประกาศผลรางวัลเกมยอดเยี่ยมจาก BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) ประจำปี 2024 ออกมาแล้ว โดยรางวัลเกมแห่งปีได้แก่ ‘Baldur’s Gate 3’ ซึ่งไม่น่าแปลกใจเพราะมันได้รับเสียงชื่นชมอย่างมากและ คว้ารางวัลใหญ่มาแล้วมากมาย
ส่วนเกมฟอร์มดีอย่าง ‘Alan Wake 2’ คว้าสองรางวัลกลับบ้านได้แก่รางวัล Audio Achievement และ Artistic Achievement ไปครอง ส่วนค่าย Nintendo คว้า 3 รางวัลกลับบ้านโดยเกมดังของค่ายอย่าง ‘The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’ และ ‘Super Mario Bros. Wonder’ ได้ไปโดยรวมถือว่าไม่มีอะไรผิดจากที่คาดไว้นัก
