การที่เครื่องเกม Nintendo Switch ขายดีในญี่ปุ่นทำให้ค่ายเกมอื่นเริ่มทำเกมลง Switch มากขึ้น และทำให้ล่าสุด GooRanking ได้ทำแบบสำรวจชาวญี่ปุ่นมากกว่า 2,000 คนว่าอยากเห็นเกมอะไรออกบนเครื่อง Nintendo Switch มากที่สุด ตามคาดที่มีแต่ซีรีส์เกมดังๆอย่าง Smash Bros, Final Fantasy หรือ Pokemon แต่ที่ผิดคาดคืออันดับ 1 ตกเป็นของ Animal Crossing ภาคใหม่ที่ชาวญี่ปุ่นอยากเห็นบน Switch มากที่สุด
