ในรายงานผลประกอบการล่าสุดของ Nintendo ระบุว่า Nintendo Switch มียอดขายถึง 84.59 ล้านเครื่องทั่วโลก (ข้อมูล ณ วันที่ 31 มีนาคม 2021) ซึ่งถ้าดูอายุของเครื่องแล้ว ก็น่าจะทำยอดขายรวมทั้งหมดแซง Nintendo Wii ได้ในอีกไม่นานนี้ โดยมียอดขายฮาร์ดแวร์ถึง 4.72 ล้าน และยอดขายซอฟต์แวร์ถึง 54.78 ล้านในระยะเวลา 3 เดือน
นอกจากนี้ Nintendo ยังได้เปิดเผย 10 อันดับเกม First Party ของ Nintendo Switch ที่ขายดีที่สุด
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 35.39 ล้านชุด
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons – 32.63 ล้านชุด
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 23.84 ล้านชุด
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 22.28 ล้านชุด
- Pokemon Sword / Pokemon Shield – 21.10 ล้านชุด
- Super Mario Odyssey – 20.83 ล้านชุด
- Super Mario Party – 14.79 ล้านชุด
- Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! – 13.28 ล้านชุด
- Splatoon 2 – 12.21 ล้านชุด
- New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe – 10.44 ล้านชุด
และเปิดเผยตัวเลขยอดขายของเกมชื่อดังต่าง ๆ
