MTV ได้จัดงานประกาศผลรางวัลภาพยนตร์ประจำปี 2017 โดยได้นำเอารายการโทรทัศน์มารวมด้วยเป็นปีแรก โดยใช้ชือว่า MTV Movie & TV Awards
- ปล. MTV Movie Awards เป็นงานประกาศรางวัลภาพยนตร์และนักแสดงที่จัดขึ้นประจำปีโดย MTV ซึ่งได้เริ่มจัดขึ้นครั้งแรกในปี 1992 โดยมีการล้อเลียนภาพยนตร์โดยใช้ฟุตเทจหนังจากทางค่ายหนังและตัวแสดงที่เป็นคนดัง นักแสดง นักร้อง หรือพิธีกร
