Google ได้ประกาศผู้ชนะรางวัล Play Awards 2022 ด้วยการประเดิมให้ Apex Legends Mobile เป็นเกมมือถือประจำปี 2022 นี้ หลังจาก App Store ก็ได้ยกให้ Apex Legends Mobile เป็นเกมมือถือแห่งปี 2022 เมื่อไม่กี่วันที่ผ่านมาเช่นกัน เพราะตั้งแต่ตัวเกมได้เปิดให้บริการบนแพลตฟอร์มสมาร์ตโฟน Apex Legends Mobile สามารถทำยอดดาวน์โหลดได้เป็นจำนวนมาก ไม่ตกจาก 10 อันดับต้น ๆ ตลอดปีนี้เลยก็ว่าได้
นอกจาก Apex Legends Mobile ก็มีเกมที่ชนะรางวัลสาขาอื่น ๆ อย่าง Dislyte ที่ได้รางวัลเกม Multiplayer ยอดเยี่ยม, Dicey Dungeons ได้รางวัล Best Indie Game และ Angry Birds Journey ชนะรางวัล Best Pick up and Play ตามด้วยสาขารางวัลอีกมากมายตามรายชื่อผู้ชนะตามนี้เลย
