เรียกว่าเป็นข่าวดีสำหรับแฟนๆ Sony เพราะในงานเปิดตัวเกมใหม่ของซีรีส์ Super Robot ที่ในงานมีการเปิดตัวเกม Super Robot Wars X บน PS4 และ PSvita ไม่มี Nintendo Switch ตามข่าวลือ โดยเกมยังใช้รูปแบบการเล่นเหมือนเดิมกราฟิกยังคงเหมือนกับภาคก่อนหน้านี้ไม่ได้เปลี่ยนแปลง (เพราะออกบน vita ด้วย)
เกม Super Robot Wars X ยังคงรวบรวมเอาหุ่นจากหลายซีรีส์มารวมกันเหมือนเดิมโดยมีหุ่นใหม่ๆจากซีรีส์ Mashin Hero Wataru (วาตารุ เทพบุตร 2 โลก) , G Reco , Buddy Complex , Fushigi no Umi no Nadia มาช่วยเสริมทัพให้เกมน่าเล่นมากยิ่งขึ้น
เกม Super Robot Wars X วางขาย 29 มีนาคม 2018 บน PS4 , PSvita มีออกเวอร์ชั่นภาษาอังกฤษ ด้วย
