ผู้จัดจำหน่าย Microsoft และทีมพัฒนา The Coalition ได้ประกาศสเปกคอมพิวเตอร์สำหรับเล่นเกม Gears 5 เวอร์ชัน PC อย่างเป็นทางการ ซึ่งต้องใช้ CPU อย่างน้อยเป็น AMD FX-6000 series หรือ Intel i3 Skylake พร้อมด้วยแรม 8 GB และการ์ดจอ AMD Radeon R9 280 หรือ NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 (Windows 10) หรือ NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (Windows 7)
ส่วนสเปกคอมพิวเตอร์ที่ทีมพัฒนา The Coalition แนะนำ ควรใช้ CPU เป็น AMD Ryzen 3 หรือ Intel i5 Skylake พร้อมด้วยแรม 8 GB การ์ดจอ AMD Radeon RX 570 หรือ NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (Windows 10) หรือ NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660ti (Windows 7) และใช้พื้นที่ในการติดตั้ง 80 GB
สิ่งที่น่าสนใจก็คือ แม้เกม Gears 5 จะเป็นเกมระดับ AAA แต่แนะนำให้ใช้แรมเพียง 8 GB เท่านั้น ซึ่งต่างจากเกมระดับ AAA อื่น ๆ ที่แนะนำให้ใช้ถึง 16 GB
