ประกาศออกมาแล้วสำหรัยรางวัล Golden Joystick Awards 2024 ที่ในปีนี้มีเกมดัง ๆ เข้าชิงมากมาย และตามคาดที่รางวัลใหญ่ Ultimate Game of the Year ได้แก่ Black Myth Wukong เกมกระแสแรงแห่งปี 2024 ที่ประสบความสำเร็จทั้งเสียงวิจารณ์และยอดขายเกม
และนอกจาก Black Myth: Wukong จะสามารถคว้ารางวัลใหญ่ที่สุดในงานไปครองได้ และยังได้รับรางวัล Visual Design ถือว่าเป็นความสำเร็จของค่ายน้องใหม่อย่าง Game Science ส่วนเกมอินดี้กระแสแรงอย่าง Balatro ที่ได้แสดงเข้าชิง The Game Awards 2024 ก็สมารถคว้ารางวัลกลับบ้านไป 2 รางวัล เช่นกัน
