Samsung ได้เริ่มปล่อยอัพเดต Android Pie สำหรับ Galaxy S9 และ S9+ ในหลายประเทศแล้ว และสำหรับสมาร์ทโฟนซีรีส์อื่น ๆ นั้น ทาง Samsung ก็ได้เปิดเผยกำหนดการออกมาด้วเช่นกัน ดังต่อไปนี้

ฟีเจอร์สำคัญที่คาดว่าจะได้รับการอัพเดตใน Android Pie สำหรับสมาร์ทโฟนหลายรุ่นคือ One UI ซึ่งเป็นอินเทอร์เฟสที่ Samsung ได้พัฒนาเพื่อใช้สมาร์ทได้อย่างคล่องตัวมากขึ้น
รายละเอียดดังกล่าว ได้รับการเปิดเผยผ่าน SamMobile โดยเป็นข้อมูลจากแอป Samsung Memebers แต่ยังไม่มีรายละเอียดว่าจะเริ่มอัพเดตในภูมิภาคใดก่อนเป็นลำดับแรก แต่คาดการณ์ว่าระยะเวลาจะห่างกันมากนักในแต่ละประเทศ
