สมาคมนักวิจารณ์แห่งอเมริกา หรือ National Board Of Review ประกาศผลรางวัลต่าง ๆ ในวงการภาพยนตร์เมื่อคืนวันอังคาร ที่ 1 ธันวาคม นี้ รางวัลใหญ่สุด ภาพยนตร์ยอดเยี่ยม ตกเป็นของ Mad Max Fury Road ส่วน The Martian คว้าไป 3 รางวัล และ The Hateful Eight ได้ไป 2 รางวัล เห็นได้ว่าปีนี้เป็นปีของผู้กำกับขาเก๋าในวงการทั้งนั้น จอร์จ มิลเลอร์ , ริดลีย์ สก๊อตต์ และ เควนติน ตารันติโน ผลรางวัลของ สมาคมนักวิจารณ์แห่งอเมริกา ถือว่าเป็นอีกสถาบันที่ชี้แววให้เห็นผลของรางวัลออสการ์ได้
สมาคมนักวิจารณ์แห่งอเมริกา เป็นสถาบันที่เก่าแก่ที่สุดในวงการภาพยนตร์ ก่อตั้งมาตั้งแต่ปี 1909 ในนิวยอร์ค หลังจากถือกำเนิดของภาพยนตร์มาได้ 13 ปี และเป็นสถาบันแรกที่จัด 10 อันดับภาพยนตร์ในแต่ละปี
